Hi I’m Louise and I started CB22 Pet Services with the aim of providing a bespoke, reliable and trustworthy service in the South Cambridgeshire villages around Newton and the Shelfords. I offer small animal care in your home and dog walking. I tend to walk small groups of happy socialised dogs together. Most dogs enjoy the company of others and my regular canine clients get the chance to stay well socialised and have guaranteed play sessions with other dogs. I vary my walks so my regular dogs continue to find them stimulating and exciting, providing an hour of off-lead fun for those that have good recall. In very hot weather we will go to shady woodland areas and places with water to cool down in. My service includes collection and return of dogs, and I’ll towel them down when they are muddy and wet when we get back if necessary. I check water levels and can feed too if required. I don’t give out excessive treats but a little of what you like won’t hurt you! I make my own, usually baked liver or tuna baked bites. I haven’t met a dog yet who doesn’t love them!
I am a lifelong animal lover, having grown up in an animal oriented environment on a small farm on the Lancashire moorland. We had a menagerie of animals, many of which were rescue pets including rabbits, chickens and hens, dogs, cats, goats and a horse. I’m delighted that after many years in project management and community organising roles I have been able to finally use my experience of animal care and passion for dogs in particular to start my own pet care service. Delivering exactly the same caring service that I would want for my own pets.
